We have been finding out lots about butterflies, exploring books and the internet to find answers to our questions. We have been busy writing fact sentences about butterflies, and creating art about them. Look at our colourful reports!
Today we watched Youtube movies of caterpillars hatching from eggs, shedding their too-small skins, becoming cocoons, and then hatching as beautiful butterflies. We also saw a butterfly lay eggs on leaves.
We managed to answer all our questions about butterflies.
Next we want to find out about dragonflies. Where do they come from?
Does anyone have ideas about interesting questions about dragonflies that we might want to investigate?
