Our Most Amazing Machine

Welcome to Term 3, and our new Inquiry focus "Our Most Amazing Machine".

We will be exploring how our amazing bodies fit together, and ways we can keep them healthy and running well.

Already we have wondered some interesting questions, such as:

How do we grow hair? How do we talk? How do we grow skin when we get cut?

Do we have a thorax? (We know insects have them!)

It was exciting to have this last question answered for us when we were watching Stanley the Skeleton on YouTube - We DO have a thorax!)

We are learning about our skeleton and bones first, and practising a skeleton dance for the School Assembly soon.
